Vasilades (Βασιλάδες) Karditsa
Vasilades is a settlement in Thessaly and the Regional Unit of Karditsa,[2] which is located west of the Voutsinaki peak (2,154 m) in southern Pindos at an altitude of 1,100 meters.[3] It is approximately 61 km. W.-SW. from Karditsa and 30 km. NW. from Anthiro (seat of the municipality). The village's landmark is the church of Agios Panteleimonas with a 17th-century iconostasis.[4]
It was officially mentioned as a separate settlement for the first time in 1961, being registered in the then community of Petrilo.[5] According to the "Kallikratis" Program, together with Argyraiika, Livadia, Rossi, Chalkiopoulo and Chari, they form the community of Petrilos, which falls under the municipal unit of East Argithea of the Municipality of Argithea, while according to the 2011 census, 64 residents were registered.[6]
