Romia (Ρωμιά) Karditsa
Romia is a small settlement of Stefaniada and the Municipality of Argithea[1] in the Regional Unit of Karditsa, located on the eastern slopes of Mount Galatsi in the Western Agrafa at an altitude of 840 meters[2]. It is approximately 71 km W.-S.W. from Karditsa, 24 km. S.-SE. from Anthiro (seat of the municipality) and 2 km. E.-SE. from Stefaniada.
It was officially mentioned as a separate settlement for the first time in 1961, being registered in the community of Stefaniada.[3] According to the Kallikrates program and its amendment by Kleisthenis I, together with Aetochori, Stefaniada and Marathos III, they constitute the community of Stefaniada[4], which falls under the municipal unit of East Argithea of the Municipality of Argithea, while according to the 2011 census, 22 residents were registered[5].
