Chalkiopoulo (Χαλκιόπουλον) Karditsa

Chalkiopoulo is a very small settlement in Thessaly and the Regional Unit of Karditsa,[1] which is located in southern Pindos at an altitude of 1,020 meters.[2] It is approximately 60 km. W.-SW. from Karditsa, 29 km. NW. from Anthiro (seat of the municipality) and 3 km. (guide) W. from Petrilo. As a separate settlement, it was officially mentioned for the first time in 1961, being registered in the then community of Petrilo.[3] According to the "Kallikratis" Program, together with Argyraiika, Livadia, Polydroso, Rossi, Vasilades and Charis, it forms the community of Petrilo, which falls under the municipal unit of East Argithea of ​​the Municipality of Argithea, while according to the 2011 census, 6 residents were registered.[4]
