Spilia (Σπηλιά) Karditsa

Spilia is a settlement in Thessaly and the Regional Unit of Karditsa[2][3] which is located towards the border with the Regional Unit of Arta and is built on the southern slopes of Mount Marathos in the Northern Agrafa at an altitude of 990 meters[4]. It is approximately 14 km (approximate distance) from Anthiro (the seat of the municipality) and 77 km west of Karditsa. It was first mentioned as a separate settlement in 1951, being registered in the then community of Anthiro.[5] According to the "Kallikratis" Program, it belongs to the community of Anthiro, which falls under the municipal unit of Argithea of ​​the Municipality of Argithea, while according to the 2011 census, 24 residents were registered.[6]
