Argyraiika (Αργυραίικα) Karditsa
Argyraiika or Argyreika is a settlement in the local community of Petrilo, in the municipal unit of East Argithea, in the municipality of Argithea, in the regional unit (former prefecture) of Karditsa, in the region of Thessaly, according to the Kallikratis program.[1][2] Before the Kapodistrias plan and the Kallikratis program, it belonged to the province and prefecture of Karditsa, in the geographical department of Thessaly.[3][4]
Geography
Argyraiika is a high-altitude mountainous settlement in the southwestern part of the prefecture of Karditsa, close to the border with the prefecture of Evrytania. It is located on the western slopes of the peak "Koulia" (1,560 m) of the Thessalian Agrafa and on the eastern banks of the Petriliotis River, next to Petrilo and at an average elevation of 1,145. It is approximately 58 km. SW. of Karditsa.[3][4][5][6][7][8]

Administrative changes until "Kallikratis"
The settlement was recognized in 1961 and annexed to the Petrilo community of the Karditsa prefecture. With the Government Gazette 244A - 04/12/1997 it was detached from the Petrilo community and annexed to the Athamanes community. With the Government Gazette 87A - 12/06/2010 it was detached from the community of Athamane and annexed to the community of Argithea.[2]
