Agios Nikolaos (Άγιος Νικόλαος) Evrytania

Agios Nikolaos, also known as Laspi until 1951[1], is a mountainous village in the prefecture of Evrytania. It is located in a dense fir forest and at an altitude of 1,020 meters[2] on the slopes of Tymfristos. A characteristic of the settlement is that it receives a large amount of snow during the winter months. Agios Nikolaos belongs to the Municipality of Karpenisi and is 10 km from Karpenisi[2]. Its population, according to the 2011 census, is 264 residents[3].

Local Community of Agios Nikolaos

In addition to the homonymous village, the Local Community includes the settlement of Lefka, with 23 residents. The community is characterized as a rural mountainous settlement, with an area of ​​15.762 km² (2011). [4] The total population of the Local Community of Agios Nikolaos is 287 inhabitants.
