Aroniada (Αρωνιάδα) Evrytania
Aroniada is a semi-mountainous settlement in the prefecture of Evrytania at an altitude of 470 meters.[2] The village is located east of Tavropos (Megdovas) and near the iron bridge of Megdovas on the Karpenisi - Agrinio National Road. It is 30 km northwest of Karpenisi and 89 km northeast of Agrinio. It was first mentioned as a settlement in the 1951 census as part of the then community of Kalesmenou[3]. According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Ano Kalesmenou, Kalesmenou and Monastiraki form the local community of Kalesmenou, which belongs to the municipal unit of Karpenisi of the Municipality of Karpenisi and according to the 2011 census has a population of only 1 inhabitant[4].
