Itia (Ιτιά) Evrytania
Itia is a settlement in the prefecture of Evrytania, located north and very close to Karpenisi, approximately 3 km away[2]. It is located at the beginning of the Karpenisi - Velouchi provincial road and the Tymfristos ski resort. In reality, it is a hotel and 3-4 more houses, to the west of which the Karpenisiotis River passes. It was recognized as a settlement in 1991 and was annexed to the municipality of Karpenisi[3]. According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Karpenisi, Velouchi, Kallithea and Gorianades, it forms the municipal community of Karpenisi, which belongs to the municipal unit of Karpenisi of the Municipality of Karpenisi and, according to the 2011 census, has a permanent population of 2 residents[4].
