Nikolitsi (Νικολίτσι) Fthiotida
Nikolitsi is a mountainous village of Central Greece in the Regional Unit of Fthiotida,[1] which is located on the southwestern slopes of Mount Goulinas at an altitude of 660 meters[2] and at a distance of 25 km. SW. from the seat of the municipality of Sperchiada. It is mentioned as a settlement since the Ottoman occupation and after the liberation in 1835 it was officially annexed to the then municipality of Omilaion. In 1913, with the Government Gazette 260A - 20/12/1913, it was designated as the seat of the newly founded community of the same name.[3] According to the "Kallikratis" Program, it is the local community of Nikolitsi, which falls under the municipal unit of Sperchiada of the Municipality of Makrakomi and according to the 2011 census has a population of 48 residents.[4]
