Kedra (Κέδρα) Fthiotida
Kedra is a small mountainous settlement of Central Greece in the Regional Unit of Fthiotida[1], which is located towards the border with the Regional Unit of Evrytania. It is built on the northeastern slopes of Mount Kokkalia at an altitude of 940 meters. It is 32 km. SE. from Makrakomi, 61 km. W.-SW. from Lamia, 26 km. SE. from Karpenisi and 1 km. E. from Pougakia of which it is considered a settlement. It is officially mentioned as a separate settlement for the first time in 1961 when they were registered in the then community of Pougakia. According to the "Kallikratis" Program, together with Pougakia, Vlachiko, Mastoreika and Neochori, they form the local community of Pougakia, which falls under the municipal unit of Sperchiados of the Municipality of Makrakomi and according to the 2011 census has a population of 27 residents.[2]
