Kyriakaiika (Κυριακαίικα) Kilkis
Kyriakaiika is a village in the municipality of Kilkis, in Central Macedonia[1]. This village is located at an altitude of 190 meters, 14 km. W. of the city of Kilkis and 53 km. N.-N.W. of Thessaloniki[2]. A prehistoric settlement and cemetery from historical times have been found on a hill in the area. On the surface of the hill there is abundant Roman pottery and evidence of the existence of tombs. For this reason, it was declared an archaeological site in 1996[3]. According to the 2011 census, it has 14 residents[4] and according to the Kallikratis program, together with Baptistis, they form the local community of Baptistis, which belongs to the municipal unit of Kilkis of the municipality of Kilkis. The inhabitants are mainly Sarakatsani. It was recognized as a settlement in 1981.[5]
