Agia Triada (Αγία Τριάδα) Ioannina
Agia Triada is a mountainous village in the prefecture of Ioannina in Epirus, located on the eastern slopes of Mount Floros at an altitude of 540 meters[1].
Geography - History
Agia Triada is 29 km south of the city of Ioannina, 7 km north of Varlaam and 1.5 km west of the Agia Triada junction of the Ionian Highway[2]. It is one of the villages of Western Xirovouni that during the Ottoman period were referred to as "Katsiaounochoria"[3] and called Bouratsa. With the old name, it is registered as a tsifliki of the kaza of Ioannina and a population of 70 inhabitants in the Ottoman statistical register (salmane) of 1895[4]. The area's landmark is the 18th-century chapel of Agia Paraskevi, which has been declared a historical monument since 1965[5].

Administrative
It was established as a community in 1928 with the Government Gazette 202A - 01/10/1928 and its seat is the same[9]. According to the Kallikratis plan, it is the local community of Agia Triada, which belongs to the municipal unit of Agios Dimitrios of the Municipality of Dodoni and according to the 2011 census has a population of 95 inhabitants[10].
