Important sights are the church of Panagia with an interesting wooden carved iconostasis and frescoes as well as the monastery of Agios Nikolaos at a distance of 5 km. NW. of the village[5]. History
The habitation of Sklivani, from the archaeological findings that exist, dates back to the 3rd to 4th century, while the existing churches prove continuous habitation since the 15th century. The travelers Leak and Holland mention it from 1805 to 1812, as well as Panagiotis Aravantinos in 1831 in his work "Chronicles of Epirus", which provides data on the population and the community[2].

It was established as a community in 1919 with the Government Gazette 184A - 19/08/1919 and its seat is the same[9]. According to the Kallikratis plan, together with the neighboring villages of Agios Georgios, Agios Christoforos, Koulouraiika, Profitis Ilias, Rachi, Stavros and Chora, they constitute the local community of Sklivani, which belongs to the municipal unit of Agios Dimitrios of the Municipality of Dodoni and according to the 2011 census has a population of 65 residents, while the community as a whole has 235[10].
