Agia Paraskevi (Αγία Παρασκευή) Ioannina
Agia Paraskevi is a settlement in the local community of Melia, in the municipal unit of Agios Dimitrios, in the municipality of Dodoni, in the regional unit (former prefecture) of Ioannina, in the region of Epirus, according to the Kallikratis program.[1][2]
Geographical data
Agia Paraskevi is a semi-mountainous settlement in the southern part of the prefecture of Ioannina. It is located near the western banks of Louros, at an average altitude of 320 meters. It belongs to the so-called villages of Ano Louros and is 1.5 km W. of the Arta-Ioannina national road and 28.5 km S. of the city of Ioannina.[3][4][5][6][7][8]

Administrative changes until "Kallikratis"
The settlement was recognized in 1981 and annexed to the Melia community of the Ioannina prefecture. With the Government Gazette 244A - 4/12/1997, it was detached from the Melia community and annexed to the municipality of Agios Dimitrios. With the Government Gazette 87A - 07/06/2010, it was detached from the municipality of Agios Dimitrios and annexed to the municipality of Dodoni.[13]
Sights
The Military Museum of Fort "Emin Aga", SE. of the settlement, on the eastern banks of Louros and next to the Arta-Ioannina national road. It is a museum dedicated to the war of 1912-3, where a camp had been established by King Constantine II during the military operations of that period, for the liberation of Epirus.
The stone-built church of Agios Konstantinos, NE. of the settlement, founded in 1950
