Sights
Saint Spyridon, which is adorned with a wonderful wood-carved iconostasis, the work of which is rumored to have been by a craftsman named Zacharias Theodorakis, from neighboring Spili, and that for its construction he used cypress trees given to him for this purpose by the Holy Monastery of Preveli.[12]
Saint Anthony, east of the village, on Mount Siderotas, which is half located in a cave of a rocky hill. In the niche of the sanctuary there is a hagiography of Abraham, while on the northern surface there are two figures, one of which is that of Saint Anthony and the other is indistinguishable.[12]
Agia Kyriaki, also a Byzantine church with iconography. It was discovered by chance in 1932, completely covered by soil, while half of the church continues to remain buried in the ground. On the south wall of the church is a depiction of Agia Kyriaki, from whom the name was given to the church, which had been completely forgotten due to its filling in.[12]
The beach of Katsouni (or Katsouni), one of the most beautiful in the Libyan Sea, south of the settlement.[13]
Miscellaneous
Ecclesiologically, it is served by the parish of Kerame, which falls under the 1st Archdiocese of the Holy Metropolis of Lambi, Syvritos and Sfakia. The lyre player Spyros Sifogiorgakis comes from the village.[14]
