Agia Eirini (Αγία Ειρήνη) Evoia
Agia Eirini is a settlement in the local community of Stropona, in the municipal unit (former municipality) of Dirfion, in the municipality of Dirfion - Messapia, in the regional unit (former prefecture) of Evoia, in the region of Central Greece, according to the Kallikratis program.[1][2] Before the Kapodistrias plan and the Kallikratis program, it belonged to the province of Chalkida in the prefecture of Evia, in the geographical department of Central Greece.[3][4]
Geographical information
Agia Eirini is a mountainous settlement in the north-central part of Evoia. It is located at the northern ends of Dirfyos (peak "Kastri"), in the Kokkinias stream and west of the provincial road leading to the beach of Chiliadou, with a view of Dirfyos and the Aegean Sea and at an average altitude of 350 meters. It is approximately 54 km. NE. of Chalkida.[3][4][5][6][7][8]

Administrative changes until "Kallikratis"
The settlement was recognized in 1961 and annexed to the community of Stropona of Evia. With the Government Gazette 244A - 04/12/1997 it was detached from the community of Stropona and annexed to the municipality of Dirfyon. With the Government Gazette 87A - 07/06/2010 it was detached from the municipality of Dirfion and annexed to the municipality of Dirfion-Messapion.[2]
Sights

The beaches of "Gialiskari", "Kokkina" and "Livadakia" by a dirt road to the north and the famous Chiliadou by asphalt to the northeast of the settlement.
