Monodendro (Μονόδενδρο) Ioannina
Monodendro or Monodendri by some, is a mountainous village of Dodoni in the prefecture of Ioannina, Epirus, which is located at the southern ends of the Soulioi Mountains[1], very close to Ardosi and is 48.5 km southwest of the city of Ioannina[2]. The settlement was first recognized as a settlement in 1961 and was annexed to the then community of Ardoseo[3]. According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Ardosi, it forms the local community of Ardoseo, which belongs to the municipal unit of Lakka Souliou of the Municipality of Dodoni and according to the 2011 census has a population of 83 inhabitants[4].
