Kokkina Chorafia (Κόκκινα Χωράφια ) Rethymno
Kokkina Chorafia is a settlement in the Municipality of Agios Vasileios in the Regional Unit of Rethymno, Crete.[2][3]
General information
Kokkina Chorafia is located on the southern coast of the island at an altitude of 70 meters and is 36 km. S. from Rethymno, 20 km. W.-S.W. from Spili (seat of the municipality). It is officially registered as a separate settlement for the first time in 1991 to be registered in the community of Myrthios.[3] According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Myrthios, Kalypso, Kampos and Myrthianos Plakias, it forms the community of Myrthios, which falls under the municipal unit of Foinikas of the Municipality of Agios Vasileios and according to the 2021 census, 23 residents were registered[4] while in the 2011 census it had 5 residents[5].
