Frousiouna (Φρουσιούνα ) Argolida
Frousiouna (formerly: Frousina, Frosyna) is a mountainous village in the Argolida prefecture.[2] It is located on the western slopes of Mount Trachy (Armenia) above the Alea plateau at an altitude of 800 meters. It administratively falls under the community of Frussiouna of the Alea municipal unit of the Argos-Mycenae municipality[3] of the Peloponnese Region. The 2021 census recorded 11 permanent residents.[4] The village is 42 kilometers from Argos and 16 kilometers from Skoteini.
Population
Frousiouna experienced a generally small population increase from 1879 to 1940, with a small decrease in 1889 and a large one in 1920. After the war, it was hit by a wave of urbanisation and its population decreased significantly. In 2021, it recorded a huge population decrease compared to the previous census.
