Agia Paraskevi (Αγία Παρασκευή) Karditsa
Agia Paraskevi is a mountainous village in the prefecture of Karditsa at an altitude of 740 meters[1][2].
Geography - History
Agia Paraskevi is located west and south of the artificial Lake Plastiras at a distance of 23 km. S.-S.W. from Morfovouni (seat of the municipality) and 41.5 km. S.W. from Karditsa. It was officially mentioned as a settlement for the first time in 1991 when it was annexed to the then community of Karitsa Dolopon[3]. According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Karitsa, Agia Marina, Loggas, Mega Rema, Petroto and Rafina, it forms the local community of Karitsa Dolopon, which falls under the municipal unit of Nevropolis Agrafa of the municipality of Limni Plastiras and according to the 2011 census has a population of 6 residents[4].
