Marinos (Μαρίνος) Evrytania

Marinos is a mountain village in the prefecture of Evrytania at an altitude of 900 meters. It is located southeast of the prefecture and the eastern foothills of Mount Kaliakouda, near the confluence of the Ananiadas torrent with Krikeliotis. The village is 32 km south of Karpenisi, 8 km northwest of Domnista and 4.5 km from Krikello. It was recognized as a settlement in 1940 and annexed to the then community of Domnistis, which belonged to the prefecture of Etoloakarnania. According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Domnista and Skopia, they constitute the local community of Domnistis, which belongs to the municipal unit of Domnistas of the Municipality of Karpenisi and according to the 2011 census has a population of 3 inhabitants [4].
