Vrysi (Βρύση ) Thesprotia
Vrysi is a lowland uninhabited village of the regional unit of Thesprotia at an altitude of 60 meters[1], which is located in the center of Thesprotia. It is built near the coast of the Ionian Sea between Plataria, Faskomilia and Argyrotopos. It is 15.5 km. (via Plataria) S.-SE. from Igoumenitsa and the Preveza - Igoumenitsa National Road passes through it. It is mentioned as a settlement in 1919 in the Government Gazette 184A - 19/08/1919 to be annexed to the then community of Nesta (Faskomilia)[2]. According to the "Kallikratis" Program, together with Plataria, it forms the local community of Plataria, which belongs to the municipal unit of Sivota of the municipality of Igoumenitsa and according to the 2011 census has no permanent residents[3].
