Velouchi is a settlement in Central Greece in the Aitoloakarnania Regional Unit.[2]
General information
Velouchi is located 3 km (approximate) SW. from the center of Agrinio, at an altitude of 50 meters.[3] The village is built on the plain of Agrinio, next to Dokimio and south of the suspended Agrinio State Airport. It was first officially mentioned as a settlement in 1971 when it was registered in the municipality of Agrinio[4]. According to the Kallikratis program, it belongs to the municipal community of Agrinio, which is part of the municipal unit of Agrinio of the Municipality of Agrinio and according to the 2011 census, it has a population of 66 residents.[5]
