Aliartos (Greek: Αλιάρτος) is a municipality in the Boeotia regional unit, Greece, at 109 kilometres from Athens. Population 6,351 (2001). It is the center of the Kopais (Kωπαΐδα) valley. Its name comes from the ancient city of Haliartus.

The municipality Aliartos was formed at the 2011 local government reform by the merger of the following 2 former municipalities, that became municipal units:[1]
