Paralia Kalamakiou (Παραλία Καλαμακίου) Achaia

Paralia Kalamakiou is a small lowland coastal settlement in the Prefecture of Achaia, part of the Local Community of Limnochori, and according to the "Kallikratis Program" since 1/1/2011 belongs to the Municipality of West Achaia[2][3]. During the period 1997-2010, based on the "Kapodistrias Plan", it belonged to the former Municipality of Movris as part of the former municipal district of Limnochori[2][3][4][5].

General information

This is a relatively new settlement as it was recognized as such on 05/04/1981[2]. The population of the settlement increases mainly in the summer months, as it consists of many holiday homes[6].
