Othoni, NGA, Satellite image

Othoni is an around 10 km² large island, at a distance of around 20 km northwest from Corfu. It belongs to the so-called Diapontic or Othoni group of islands (Mathraki, Erikoussa, Othoni). It is the largest island of this group as part of the province of Corfu. Maximum length and width around 5.6 km and 3.6 km respectively.

In the NE there is a lighthouse. In the west there is a cave called the cave of Calypso as according to a legend it was the place where Odysseus was kept by Calypso.
