Klimatari (Κληματάρι) Evoia

Klimatari is a small semi-mountainous village in central Evia and the Regional Unit of Evia[2][3] with an altitude of 156 meters[4].
Geographical information

Klimatari is located on the Aegean coast, west of Oxylithos and northeast of Kipi. It is 28 km. N.-NE. from Aliveri (seat of the municipality - via Avlonari), 12 km. S. from Kymi and 71 km. E.-NE. from Chalkida. The village is developed in two settlements (western and eastern) at the foot of granite volcanic hills. Its houses are stone-built with a typical rectangular floor plan, have a hipped roof with tiles and feature interesting masonry with large rectangular stones in the corner joints and wedge-shaped slabs in the construction.[3]
Administrative data

It is officially reported, after the Revolution of 1821 and the incorporation of Evia, in 1835 to be annexed to the then municipality of Kymaion.[5] According to the Kallikratis program, together with Oxylithos, Kampos, Mesonisi, Moni Mantzari and Paralia, it forms the local community of Oxylithos, which falls under the municipal unit of Kymi of the municipality of Kymi - Aliveri and according to the 2011 census has a population of 22 inhabitants[6].
