Gali (Γάλη) Limnos
Gali is a settlement in the North Aegean Sea in the Regional Unit of Limnos.[2][3]
General information
Gali is located in the western part of Limnos, at an altitude of 60 meters[2] and a distance of approximately 6 km. northeast of Myrina. West of the village is Kaspakas and east is Kornos. It is officially mentioned as a separate settlement for the first time in 1981 when it was registered in the then community of Kaspakas.[4] According to the Kallikratis program and its amendment by Kleisthenis I, together with Agios Ioannis, Kaspakas and Limenaria form the community of Kaspakas[5] which falls under the Municipal Unit of Myrina of the Municipality of Lemnos. According to the 2021 census, 64 residents were registered[6], while in the 2011 census there were 104[7] and in the 2001 census there were 170.[8]
