Drosia (Δροσιά) Pella
Drosia is a mountainous village in Central Macedonia in the Pella Regional Unit at an altitude of 587 meters, which is located northeast of Lake Vegoritida at a distance of 18 km. W. from Edessa. Its old name is Drouska and thus it is officially mentioned for the first time in 1918 in the Government Gazette 152A - 09/07/1918 to be annexed to the then community of Ostrovos. In 1926 with the Government Gazette 413A - 22/11/1926 it was renamed Drosia. According to the Kallikratis program, together with Arnissa, Agios Dimitrios, Xanthogeia, and Nea Xanthogeia form the local community of Arnissa which belongs to the municipal unit of Vegoritida of the Municipality of Edessa and according to the 2021 census it has a population of 21 residents.[1]
