Kamari (Καμάρι) Paros
Kamari is a settlement in Paros and the South Aegean.[2]
General information
Kamari is located in the southern part of the island, at an altitude of 120 meters[3] and is approximately 13 kilometers south of the center of Paroikia (or Chora - the island's seat and port). West of the village is the Paros State Airport and south is Aliki. It is officially mentioned for the first time as a separate settlement in 1928, being registered in the then community of Lefkas.[4] According to the Kallikratis plan and its amendment by Kleisthenis I, it belongs to the community of Ageria[5] which falls under the Municipality of Paros while according to the 2021 census it has 88 residents[6].
