Ampelos (Άμπελος) Achaia
Ampelos is a semi-mountainous settlement in the regional unit of Achaia, it is the seat of the homonymous local community, and according to the "Kallikratis Program" since 1/1/2011 it belongs to the Municipality of Aigialeia[2][3]. During the period 1997-2010, based on the "Kapodistrias Plan", it belonged to the former Municipality of Akrata as the seat of the homonymous former municipal district[2][3]. The local community of Ampelos is characterized as a rural semi-mountainous settlement, with an area of 3,399 km² (2011).[4]
