Aetofolia (Αετοφωλέα) Tinos
Aetofolia (Greek : Eagle's Nest, official name Aetofolea) is a settlement in the Cyclades, in the Municipality of Tinos.[1][2] It is inhabited by 45 residents (2021 census)[3]. It is located in the northwestern part of Tinos at an altitude of 114 meters.[4] According to the Kallikratis program, Aetofolia falls under the Municipal Unit of Exombourgo, in the Local Community of Kalloni. The official name is "Aetofolia", although it is often found as "tou Voriá to Vouni". Its name comes from its location, as it is built high in "Voriá to Vouni"[5]. The art of pottery is a tradition, as it has appeared in the village since ancient times. According to tradition, pottery artists from Sifnos settled in the village years ago. Thus, to this day there is a painting - sculpture - ceramics workshop and a small Folklore Museum[6].
