Kato Polemidia (Κάτω Πολεμίδια ) is a municipality of the District of Limassol

The population was 18452, now it is more than 25000.
The municipality is divided in the regions Agios Nikolaos, Panagia Evangelistria, Archangelos Michail, Apostolos Varnavas, Makarios III and Anthoupolis.
The municipality was formed in the year 1986, the population increased rapidly after 1974 by refugees from North Cyprus due to the invasion and the occupation of that part by the Turkish army.
