Ellinair (from Έλλην-, [ˈelin], Greek) is a Greek airline that began initial operations on 19 February 2014, with direct flights from Thessaloniki International Airport to destinations in Ukraine, Russia, and Latvia. Owned by Thessaloniki-based Mouzenidis Group, a major tour operator in northern Greece, Ellinair is expected to begin flights to other countries of the former Soviet Union.

Livery and logo

The company's logo, a series of waving blue bands, is based on the flag of Greece.[3] The livery is also based on the flag, and the colour scheme is taken from Greece's national colours: blue and white.[3]
