The American College of Thessaloniki (ACT) is the university division of Anatolia, an American-sponsored, private, non-profit educational institution founded in 1886 and incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Today, ACT is located on a 45-acre campus of unsurpassed beauty within close proximity of downtown Thessaloniki, Greece’s second largest city.

ACT is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is empowered by its Massachusetts charter to issue a full range of university degrees and diplomas (i.e. Undergraduate, Masters and PhDs). Moreover, it offers study abroad opportunities for US students who wish to combine academic study with a truly unique cultural experience. 40% of the student body comes from outside Greece, adding a diverse and multicultural element to the learning experience.

ACT seeks to contribute actively to the wider communities of Greece and Southeast Europe as well as to enhance understanding and friendship between peoples of Greece and the United States.
