Zipari (Ζηπάρι ) Kos
Zipari is a settlement on the island of Kos in the Dodecanese.[2]
General information
Zipari is located in the center of the island, on a flat area north of Asfendi, has an altitude of 30 meters[3] and is crossed by the Kos - Kefalos provincial road. It is approximately 11 kilometers from the town of Kos and has a population of 2,329 residents (2021 census)[4].

Zipari is a modern town with fashion stores, supermarkets on the main street, which coexist with simple taverns and cafes. The side streets are filled with villas and low-rise apartments.
There is a football stadium in the village, which is the headquarters of the Asfendi Revival.[5]
Churches
Zipari has two Orthodox churches.
The Ascension of the Savior[6] and the holy church of Saint Spyridon.
One can of course also come across many chapels such as Saint George of the Bey or Saint George of Tsoukalaria.
