Zervo (Ζερβό) Preveza
Zervo is a settlement in Epirus and the regional unit of Preveza.[1]
General information - History
Zervo is located between the southern foothills of the Thesprotika Mountains and the Xiropotamos River at an altitude of 242 meters[2]. It is approximately 18 km. NW. from Filippiada and 46 km. N. from Preveza. To the northwest are Pappadates and to the southwest is Galatas. It is officially mentioned as a separate settlement, for the first time in 1928, being registered in the then community of Galatas.[3] According to the "Kallikratis" Program, together with Agios Savvas and Galatas, it forms the community of Galatas, which belongs to the municipal unit of Thesprotiko of the municipality of Ziros and, according to the 2011 census, has a population of 143 inhabitants[4].
