Xanthi (Ξανθή) Ikaria
Xanthi is a semi-mountainous settlement of Ikaria[2] and the Regional Unit of Ikaria, which is located in the center of the island and towards its northern coast. It is built at an altitude of 180 meters[3] at a distance of approximately 2 km. south of Evdylos. It was officially mentioned as a separate settlement for the first time in 1920, when it was annexed to the then community of Evdylos.[4] According to the "Kallikratis" Program, it belongs to the community of Evdylos, which falls under the municipal unit of Evdylos of the Municipality of Evdylos and according to the 2011 census, 29 residents were counted.[5]
