Vrysi (Βρύση) Evros
Vrysi is a lowland village in the Evros regional unit at an altitude of 130 meters[2].
Geography - History
Vrysi is located 29 km. NW. from Didymoteicho and 27 km. W. from Orestiada. It was officially mentioned as a settlement in 1924 in the Government Gazette 194A-14/08/1924 with its old name Mikra Trava being annexed to the then community of Elafochori[3]. According to the "Kallikratis" Program, together with Elafochori and Chionades, they form the local community of Elafochori, which belongs to the municipal unit of Metaxades of the municipality of Didymoteicho and according to the 2011 census has a population of 43 residents[4].
