Rodonas (Ροδώνας) Florina
Rodonas, officially Rodon (formerly known as Gkioulents [1]), is a mountainous village in the prefecture of Florina at an altitude of 610 meters[2]. It is located 6 km. SW. from Amyntaio and 33.5 km. SE. from Florina.
The village is built near the Ptolemaida - Florina national road and the Amyntaio junction. Its old name was Gkioulents and is mentioned in 1918 in the Government Gazette 259A-29/12/1918 as being annexed to the then community of Lioubetino. It was renamed Rodonas in 1926[3]. Since 2010, according to the Kallikratis plan, it has been part of the local community of Rodonos, which belongs to the municipal unit of Amyntaio of the Municipality of Amyntaio and, according to the 2021 census, has a population of 55 residents.
