Perdikovrysi (Περδικόβρυση) Fthiotida

Perdikovrysi is a settlement in Lokris in the Regional Unit of Fthiotida.[1]

General information

Perdikovrysi is referred to as a settlement of Amfikleia in Fthiotida[2]. It is a camping center of the Greek Scouts Corps and is located on the northern slopes of Parnassos at an altitude of 770 meters[1]. To the east and in close proximity (360 m) is the chapel of Agios Ioannis the Hunter at an altitude of 990 m. which was built in the 12th century and is decorated with interesting folk art frescoes[3]. It is 3.5 km. SW. from Amfikleia and 56 km. S.-SE. from Lamia. It has been officially referred to as a settlement since 1961[2]. According to the 2011 census, together with Amfikleia, Dadi Monastery, Ano Kalyvia, Pefkovrysi, Amfikltia Station and Fterolakka belong to the Amfikleia municipal unit of the Amfikleia-Elatia municipality and have no permanent residents[4].
