The village is built next to the Terpsitheas - Spartias provincial road, immediately after Eufalio and south of Drosato, from which its first inhabitants started. It is 12 km. It began to be built in 1910 with the original name Paliochano (Palaiochanon) and in 1956 it was renamed Pefkaki with the Government Gazette: 5/1959[5]. It took its name from a pine tree that existed in the center of the settlement.
