Paralia (Παραλία) Preveza
Paralia or Paralia Loutsas is a seaside settlement and beach of the Municipality of Parga in the Regional Unit of Preveza.[1]
General information
Paralia is located on the coast of the Ionian Sea at an altitude of 38 meters[2]. It is approximately 36 km. NW. from Preveza, 28 km. SE. from Parga and 4 km. (by road) S.-SE. from Loutsa while the Preveza - Igoumenitsa National Road passes to the east and north of it. The village is known for its beach, to which it owes its name, and together with the adjacent beach of Vrachos, they have a total length of 6 kilometers.[3] It is officially mentioned as a separate settlement for the first time in 1991, being registered in the community of Loutsa.[1] According to the "Kallikratis" Program, together with Loutsa, they form the community of Loutsa, which belongs to the Municipal Unit of Fanari, in the municipality of Parga, and according to the 2011 census, 32 residents were registered[4].
