Pallantio (Παλλάντι) Arkadia
The village of Pallantio is located near the ancient city of Pallantio (3 km). In 1991, 269 inhabitants were registered, but its permanent population is much smaller. Its inhabitants are engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. [2]
From ancient Palladio it is said that settlers began under Evandros who founded Rome. For this reason, the Roman emperor Antoninus Pius declared the city independent and privileged. Few finds have been found in ancient Pallandio. Today the village belongs to the Municipality of Tripoli. Near the village are the villages of Thana, Evandros and the settlement of Perpataris.
