Pagkrataiika Kalyvia (Παγκραταίικα Καλύβια) Achaia
Pagkrataiika Kalyvia is a small settlement in the former Kalavryta District of the Prefecture of Achaia. Administratively, it belongs to the Local Community of Pagrati in the Municipal Unit of Klitoria of the Municipality of Kalavryta, according to the administrative division of the Kallikratis Program in force in Greece since 2011.
Location
Pagkrataiika Kalyvia is 10.6 km from Klitoria, the seat of the Municipal Unit to which it belongs. It is a mountainous settlement at an altitude of 501 meters and its inhabitants are mainly engaged in agriculture and livestock farming. In the 2011 census, the settlement was found to have 49 residents[2].
Administrative history
Pagkrataiika Kalyvia was recognized as a settlement in 1961 and was annexed to the then Community of Pagrati. In 1998, with the implementation of the administrative division of the "Kapodistrias" plan, the settlement was incorporated into the Municipality of Lefkada as part of the Municipal District of Pankratio. Since 2011, based on the administrative reform "Kallikratis", they constitute a settlement of the Local Community of Pankratio of the enlarged Municipality of Kalavryta.
