Meligos (Μέλιγος) Trikala
Meligos is a settlement in Thessaly and the Trikala Regional Unit.[2][3]
General information
Meligos is located in the plain of Trikala at an altitude of 113 meters and at a distance of approximately 11 km. W. from Trikala, between Valtino (next to and NW.), Fotada (NE.), Kato Elati (SW.) and Matsoukiotika (W.). It is officially mentioned for the first time as a separate settlement in 1920 to be annexed to the then community of Valtsino. According to the Kallikratis program, together with Kato Elati and Ammoudia, they form the community of Kato Elati[4] which falls under the Municipal Unit of Kallidendros of the Municipality of Trikala and according to the 2011 census, 128 residents were registered[5].
