Koureli (Κουρέλι) Andros
Koureli is a settlement in Andros and the South Aegean.[2]
General information
Koureli is located in the central/southern part of the island at an altitude of 240 meters[3] and is 8 km. SW. from Chora. It is officially reported, after the Turkish occupation, in 1835 to be annexed to the Municipality of Andros.[4] According to the Kallikratis plan and its amendment by Kleisthenes I, it belongs to the community of Mesaria, Andros[5] which falls under the Municipal Unit of Andros of the Municipality of Andros while according to the 2021 census it has 22 residents[6].
