Kokkino (Κόκκινο) Fokida
Kokkino[2][3] or Kokkinos[4] is a village in Dorida, in the Regional Unit of Fokida.
Geographical - historical information
Kokkinos is located on the western border with the Regional Unit of Aitoloakarnania, west of the artificial lake of Mornos and is built on the outskirts of Vardoussia at an altitude of 680 meters[2]. It is approximately 31 kilometers (guideline) W.-NW. from Lidoriki (seat of the municipality), 66 kilometers W. from Amfissa and 51 kilometers from Nafpaktos. It owes its name to the Kokkinos River, a tributary of the Mornos River. Its old name was Loutsovo.[5]
