Kavos (Κάβος) Evoia
Kavos is a small coastal settlement in the prefecture of Evoia[1], in the Municipality of Istiaia-Aidipsos as established according to the Kallikrates Program. It is located on Cape Kinaion, 138 kilometers northwest of Chalkida, 47 kilometers southwest of Istiaia (the seat of the municipality) and 6 kilometers southwest of Lichada. Its population is 43 according to the 2011 census.[2] There are many holiday homes in the area. The beaches along the cape are suitable for swimming, except for the tip of Kavos where there are strong currents. As a separate settlement, it was officially mentioned for the first time in 2001, being listed in the community of Lichada.[3]
