Kavakia (Καβάκια) Evrytania
Kavakia is a small mountainous settlement in Central Greece on the borders of the Regional Unit of Evrytania with the Regional Unit of Karditsa.[2] It is built on the slopes of Agrafa at an altitude of 1,156 meters[3] and southeast of the peak of Kokkinolakkes (altitude 1,911 meters) while the Agrafiotis River begins in its area. It is 43 km N. from Kerasochori, 81 km N.-NW. from Karpenisi and 5 km N. from Trovato, of which it has long been considered a settlement. It was officially mentioned as a separate settlement for the first time in 2001, being registered in the then Local Department of Trovato of the municipality of Agrafa.[4] According to the Kallikratis plan, together with Trovato and Agios Athanasios, they form the local community of Trovato, which belongs to the municipal unit of Agrafa of the Municipality of Agrafa and according to the 2011 census has 9 residents.[5]
